Boris van der Gijp (Investments), Mascha Hendrickx (Finance) and Toon Sweens (Operations) have been appointed as the new board members of Achmea Real Estate B.V. with effect from 1 October 2024. Van der Gijp and Sweens will also become co-chairmen.
The decision follows the approval of Dutch regulators DNB and AFM, as well as the works council, on the separation of Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance's mortgage and real estate activities. The real estate company has already been operating under the trade name Achmea Real Estate since June last year. From 1 October, that will also become the legal name.
