23-10-2024

The Achmea Dutch Health Care Property Fund (ADHCPF) can once again call itself the most sustainable healthcare real estate fund in the world. Following a further review of its results, Achmea Real Estate’s fund has been named 'Global Sector Leader' in the leading Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).

Earlier this month, it was announced that Achmea Real Estate's three real estate funds had achieved the maximum five-star rating in the GRESB. The Healthcare Fund and the Residential Fund outperformed their peer groups with 93 and 91 points respectively (the maximum is 100). The Retail Fund scored 88 points, just 1 point below the average of its peer group.

According to further analysis of the results by the GRESB organisation, this score makes the healthcare property fund a 'Global Sector Leader'. For ADHCPF, this is the sixth time since 2016.

'This result underlines our sustainability ambitions and crowns the commitment of the entire team,' says Daan Tettero, manager of the healthcare real estate fund. ‘It is something we are very proud of. Both for the institutional investors we work for and for our tenants, sustainable solutions are the best solutions: financially and socially.
